About The Position

Functional Pathways is the therapy provider for Falcons Landing, a premier Life Plan Community in Sterling, VA. They are hiring a PRN Occupational Therapist to join their team at this CARF-accredited facility, named “Best Continuing Care Retirement Community” in 2025 by U.S. News and World Report. Falcons Landing offers state-of-the-art rehabilitation facilities, a collaborative interdisciplinary team, and a dedicated, resilient population. Located in the Washington, D.C. metro area, Falcons Landing caters to former members of the armed forces, US government employees and their spouses. They have provided world-class clinical services for 30 years, offering therapists the opportunity to work with evidence-based programs across the full continuum of care. Therapists receive training and certification in specialty programs through their CORE4+ and Wellness offerings, with company-paid CEUs through MedBridge available to full-time and part-time team members to support ongoing professional growth. Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master’s or Doctorate degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program
  • Certification and licensure requirements as established by state and national board associations
  • Active state license
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Current working knowledge of Functional Pathways policies and procedures
  • Completion of all required screenings, certifications, and licensure

Responsibilities

  • screen, evaluate, re-evaluate, discharge plan and make revisions in any established plan of care as supervised by the Physician
