About The Position
Wood Violet Recovery is seeking PRN nurses (LPNs or RNs) to provide support to clients in detox and stabilization. This role offers a flexible schedule, a supportive team environment, and the opportunity to engage in meaningful work.
Requirements
- Active Wisconsin RN license
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong documentation skills
- Ability to remain calm, organized, and work as part of a team
Nice To Haves
- Behavioral health experience is not required, as training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Conduct intake assessments
- Monitor client withdrawal symptoms
- Perform daily nurse assessments
- Administer medications
- Process and communicate lab results
- Respond to medical concerns
- Coordinate with providers and the clinical team
- Facilitate hospital transfers and provide nurse-to-nurse reports
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation
