About The Position

Institute of Diagnostic Imaging is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our patient-focused team! This is a PRN (as needed) position to cover staffing gaps, vacation coverage, callouts, and some holidays. The current MRI Department operates Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM - 9:00 PM, Saturdays from 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, and Sundays 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. The role is located at an outpatient imaging center in Fort Walton Beach, FL. We offer competitive base pay, shift differential pay for qualifying shifts, a 401(k) company matching program, and no on-call or holidays. Requirements

  • Minimum Associate Degree in Radiology or graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography, or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMIT).
  • Maintain current valid registration from ARRT or ARMIT.
  • MR advanced registration through ARRT or ARMIT is required upon hire.
  • Meet state licensure requirements for the state in which they practice.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as an MRI Technologist in an outpatient setting.
  • Strong understanding of MRI physics and safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Operate MRI equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
  • Maintain accurate patient records.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
