About The Position
American Health Imaging, a Lumexa Imaging partner, is seeking an ARRT registered MRI Technologist to join their team on a PRN basis at their Augusta outpatient imaging center. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced MRI professional committed to delivering exceptional patient care and high-quality diagnostic imaging in a collaborative outpatient environment. The center operates Monday-Friday from 7 am to 10 pm and Saturdays from 8 am to 5 pm, with a PRN/flexible schedule available.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT registered with advanced certification in MRI (ARRT-MR) required.
- Current CPR certification required.
- IV certification/skills required.
- Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI imaging principles.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of MRI safety, anatomy, and imaging techniques.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including IV administration when appropriate.
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical team members to deliver exceptional service and quality care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory and quality standards.
