We are seeking a dedicated PRN Licensed Dental Hygienist to join our team! As an integral part of our dental team, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health through direct patient care and education.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Active Minnesota dental hygiene license in good standing
• 2-4 years of clinical experience preferred, but not required
• Current CPR (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Local anesthesia/N2O certification
• Proficiency or willingness to learn Open Dental software, Microsoft Office, and other necessary systems.
• Valid state driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Perform dental prophylaxis and periodontal therapies, including scaling & root planning
• Conduct oral cancer screenings and periodontal charting
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care practices
• Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide (N2O) as certified
• Take and develop dental x-rays
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with safety protocols
• Collaborate with dental providers to ensure comprehensive patient care
