About The Position

We are seeking a PRN Board Eligible/Board Certified Adult or Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist to join the Summit Oaks team in Summit, NJ. This opportunity provides a flexible schedule to cover weekends, holidays, and vacations as needed. Summit Oaks Hospital is one of the longest standing mental health and substance use treatment centers in the state of NJ. Since 1902, Summit Oaks has been providing quality mental health care for youths (5-17) and adults (18 and older) who have been struggling with psychiatric and substance use disorders. Requirements

• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Adult or Child/Adolescent Psychiatry
• New Jersey Medical License or ability to obtain

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with an experienced multidisciplinary team to address the unique psychiatric needs of adolescent patients.
• Manage day-to-day inpatient responsibilities; admissions/evaluations, discharges, medication management, team collaboration with nurses, social workers, and psychologists.
