About The Position
Join a fast-paced, highly collaborative Endoscopy team where you’ll play a vital role in supporting patient care throughout the procedural experience. As a GLT I, you’ll be hands-on in ensuring smooth workflow, patient comfort, and high standards of safety and efficiency.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Nice To Haves
- Previous patient care or nursing assistant experience preferred
- Successful completion of Basic and Advanced PCT training courses as required by the care center/unit
Responsibilities
- Support procedure room turnover, including patient transport, room preparation, and thorough cleaning to ensure timely and efficient procedures
- Assist clinical staff in maintaining a safe, organized, and well-coordinated procedural environment
- Work in the scope reprocessing area, contributing to critical cleaning and preparation of equipment that directly supports patient safety
- Provide compassionate support to patients in pre- and post-procedure areas, helping ensure a positive and reassuring experience
