PRN General Surgeon
About The Position
University of Maryland Shore Regional Health System is seeking a PRN General Surgeon to join their team in Easton, Maryland. This role offers the opportunity to practice in a supportive, community-based hospital setting with access to advanced resources, including robotics. The University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS) is an academic private health system focused on delivering compassionate, high-quality care and putting discovery and innovation into practice at the bedside. UMMS is an integrated network of care, delivering 25 percent of all hospital care in urban, suburban and rural communities across the state of Maryland.
Requirements
- Possesses and maintains current license to practice medicine in the State of Maryland required.
- Possesses and maintains current Board Certification or Board eligible within General Surgery required.
- Possesses and maintains current DEA or similar Narcotics and Controlled Substances Certification required.
- Possesses and maintains, if applicable, appropriate clinical privileges at a minimum of one UMMS-affiliated acute care facility.
- Demonstrates meeting minimum CME requirements for licensure and board certification.
- Demonstrates appropriate qualifications and experience to perform the duties required of this position.
