About The Position

We are hiring immediately for a Clinical Dietitian position. This role is located at Emory Decatur Hospital, a 451-bed hospital. The schedule is PRN (as needed), typically ranging from 4-12 days per month (1-3 days per week) depending on the season. Online applications are accepted only. Requirements

  • Must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible.
  • Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable.
  • New graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes.
  • Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community.
  • Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care.
  • Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence.
  • Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals.
  • Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable.
