PRN Dietitian
About The Position
Unidine is hiring immediately for a Clinical Dietitian position at Presbyterian Westminster Place in Evanston, IL. This role is in a Continuing Care Retirement Community setting, serving skilled nursing, long/short term care, and memory care units, with additional consults for assisted living and independent living. The schedule is PRN (as needed), with a pay range of $38 - $42 per hour. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and education in senior living, collaborating with a team to enhance resident outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care.
Requirements
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible
- Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
- Healthcare experience preferred—new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes.
- Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to residents, families, staff, and the community.
- Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care.
- Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing resident care and clinical excellence.
- Partner with the food service management team to help achieve resident satisfaction and service goals.
- Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable.
