PRN Dental Hygienist
About The Position
Main Street Children's Dentistry and Orthodontics of Forest Hill is looking for a PRN Dental Hygienist in Maryland to join our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. As a Dental Hygienist at Main Street Children's Dentistry and Orthodontics of Forest Hill, you'll provide exceptional care through routine cleanings, assessments, and education, while supporting a dynamic team of dental professionals. Location of coverage: Main Street Children's Dentistry and Orthodontics of Forest Hill, Main Street Children's Dentistry and Orthodontics of Havre de Grace, Main Street Children's Dentistry and Orthodontics of Elkton, Main Street Children's Dentistry and Orthodontics of Perring Parkway, Main Street Children's Dentistry and Orthodontics of Glen Burnie.
Requirements
- Associate or bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene
- Active state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
- Local anesthesia certification and CPR/First Aid (if applicable)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort
Responsibilities
- Perform routine dental cleanings and oral health Assessments
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care
- Assist dentists with exams and treatments, and take dental X-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with industry regulations and adhere to sterilization protocols
