About The Position

Ford Endodontics is seeking a skilled, compassionate PRN Dental Assistant to join our team and help us deliver exceptional patient care. Our practice is built on a core belief: putting the patient’s needs first and this principal guides everything we do. The ideal candidate will have a natural drive to provide outstanding care, a strong attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset. This is a temporary position expected to last approximately 12 weeks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with computer-based tasks.
• Professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of Dental Assisting experience preferred.
• 1+ years of customer service experience preferred.
• We value a friendly, patient first attitude.
• Certification or associate degree in an accredited dental assisting program is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor during a variety of endodontic procedures to ensure efficiency and patient comfort.
• Greet patients and guide them through their treatment experience, making them feel at ease.
• Sterilize, maintain, and organize instruments while preparing treatment rooms according to strict protocols.
• Capture high quality, diagnostic dental X-rays and scans as needed.
• Accurately document patient information and chart notes.
• Perform administrative office tasks using a computer and dental software.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
