About The Position

Requirements

  • Master's Degree with appropriate licensure / certification as per State regulations
  • At least two (2) years of clinical experience in mental health field (additional training may substitute for one year)
  • Licensed in the state of Indiana with one of the following: LCACA (Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor Associate), LMSW (Licensed Masters Social Worker), APC (Associate Professional Counselor), AMTF (Associate Marriage &Family Therapist)
  • Demonstrates proficiency in communication and written skills
  • Knowledge of State and Federal statutes regarding patient confidentiality laws
  • Knowledge of licensing and accreditation standards

Responsibilities

  • Performing a wide variety of patient care activities as directed by the Clinical Director.
  • Responsible for patient caseload.
  • Providing group, individual, and family therapy.
  • Conducting psychosocial and biopsychosocial assessments.
  • Collaborating with the Treatment Team to formulate the Master Treatment Plan.
  • Assisting in coordinating discharge planning.
  • Primary responsibility for maintaining communication with the family, referral source and other service providers as needed.
