About The Position

Homewatch CareGivers of Austin is hiring PRN Caregivers, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Home Health Aides (HHA), and Personal Care Providers at $20.00 per hour to cover open shifts and one-time needs. We call or text you when a shift opens, and you let us know if you're available.

Requirements

• Three or more years of caregiving experience in home care or a skilled facility
• Comfortable walking into a new home and getting up to speed quickly
• Responsive to shift requests by call or text
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check
• Compassionate, reliable, and comfortable working independently

Nice To Haves

• CNA, HHA, or PCP certification preferred
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and keep clients safe at home
• Assist with personal care and daily living activities, following the care plan
• Help with laundry, light housekeeping, and meal preparation
• Drive clients to appointments, errands, and shopping
• Report changes in a client's condition to the care team
• Complete 12 hours of annual training through Caregiver University
