About The Position
The Jackson Clinics Physical Therapy is a nationally recognized Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Physical Therapy group in Virginia. Requirements
- Licensed Athletic Trainer in the state of Virginia (or eligible)
- CPR/AED certification (current)
- Strong communication and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site injury evaluation and acute care at athletic events
- Make return-to-play decisions based on clinical judgment and best practices
- Communicate effectively with athletes, coaches, and staff
- Coordinate care and referrals when necessary
- Maintain appropriate documentation for injuries and services provided
- Maintain readiness of event medical equipment by verifying kit contents and AED functionality prior to coverage; coordinate post-event equipment return and communicate any supply replenishment needs.
