About The Position

West Virginia University Health System and the Department of Emergency Medicine are seeking a full-time physician to join our team! This position is part of the Acute Resource Group (ARG) within WVUHS. This position requires travel within the North Region to the following locations: Wheeling; Renyolds; Wetzel; Barnesville; and Harrison Hospitals. Practice community emergency medicine, with the right people, for the right reasons. The Department of Emergency Medicine has over 100 full-time members across diverse practice sites. There are additional career opportunities for Emergency Medicine physicians looking for a variety of clinical experiences anchored by an academic affiliation to WVU's School of Medicine.

Requirements

• MD, MD/PhD or DO degree (the employer accepts foreign educational equivalent)
• Eligible to obtain an unrestricted West Virginia medical license
• Completed an accredited residency program
• Board-certified or board-eligible via a recognized board within ABMS
