About The Position

Allergy & ENT Associates is seeking a PRN Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to support our growing Houston-area clinics. This position is ideal for a provider who enjoys a collaborative practice environment and is looking for a flexible schedule while delivering high-quality patient care. We are seeking candidates with allergy and immunology experience; however, we also welcome experienced Primary Care and Urgent Care providers who are eager to learn allergy medicine. We provide mentorship and training for motivated clinicians who are passionate about expanding their clinical skill set.

Requirements

  • Current Texas Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
  • DEA license (or ability to obtain).
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong clinical judgment and commitment to patient-centered care.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Allergy & Immunology experience.
  • Experience administering or managing allergy immunotherapy.
  • Experience with allergy testing and interpretation.
  • Candidates with experience in Primary Care, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine are encouraged to apply if they are interested in learning Allergy and Immunology.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with allergic and immunologic conditions.
  • Perform comprehensive patient histories and physical examinations.
  • Diagnose and manage: Seasonal and perennial allergies, Asthma, Allergic rhinitis, Sinus complaints, Food and medication allergies, Eczema and related allergic skin conditions
  • Develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Prescribe medications and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.
  • Interpret allergy testing and diagnostic studies.
  • Educate patients on allergy avoidance, medications, and long-term disease management.
  • Collaborate closely with Allergists, ENT physicians, and clinical staff to ensure continuity of care.
  • Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic medical record.
  • Maintain high-quality, patient-centered care while managing an efficient clinic schedule.
