PRN Advanced Practice Provider - Community Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Walk-In Clinic
About The Position
Community Health Network is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Community Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Walk in Clinic in a PRN role at our Noblesville location. This position provides flexibility while offering the opportunity to practice independently in a fast-paced orthopedic setting with support from an on-call orthopedic surgeon. The clinic serves a heavy pediatric patient population and operates Monday through Friday with evening hours. The average patient volume is approximately 4-5 patients per shift. There is an opportunity to expand into a float surgical and clinic coverage role to assist with provider PTO coverage.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of APP experience required in Orthopedics, Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Sports Medicine, or related specialty
- Eligible for Indiana NP or PA licensure
- Dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate orthopedic care
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric experience is highly desirable due to the patient population
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat acute orthopedic injuries and musculoskeletal conditions
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop treatment plans
- Independently interpret and manage orthopedic imaging, perform minor orthopedic procedures within scope of practice, diagnose & provide treatment plans and follow-up care
- Coordinate care with orthopedic surgeons and specialty providers as needed
