About The Position

Bernstein Private Wealth Management is seeking client service-minded individuals for its Summer Intern program. These interns will support Financial Advisors in various aspects of the business, including asset allocation, capital markets, portfolio analytics, and wealth planning for high-net-worth clients. The internship offers competitive compensation and valuable financial services industry experience. Interns will partner with Financial Advisors on service and support functions, complete business projects, and receive training in client service, communication, career management, and mentorship. Networking opportunities and social events are also included. Successful interns may have the opportunity to continue their careers as full-time Private Wealth Associates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree candidates graduating between December 2027 and June 2028
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better
  • Strong leadership experience
  • Strong analytical and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to build relationships
  • Accomplished team players who thrive in a rigorous and challenging environment
  • Client-focused and detail-oriented with a strong ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced atmosphere
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Available to work full-time from June to August
  • Must not simultaneously take academic classes or hold other employment that will conflict with the internship schedule
  • Must successfully complete a thorough background check
  • Required to submit a HireVue video as part of the application process

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant internship experience is preferred
  • Some coursework in finance and economics is preferred
  • Having the Security Industry Essentials (SIE) certification is a valuable asset!

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Financial Advisors to provide service and support functions such as portfolio analysis, account creation and maintenance, and client/prospect meeting preparation.
  • Complete ad-hoc business projects
  • Focus on client service excellence, partnership and communication training to provide an exceptional client experience
  • Participate in career management, mentorship and one-on-one coaching to achieve professional success beyond the Internship program
  • Engage in networking opportunities and social outings
