About The Position

BBH is seeking sharp minds and bold thinkers for its 2027 Private Wealth Management Summer Internship program, offering a pathway to real-world finance, global markets, and professional development. This 10-week immersive internship provides hands-on learning on real projects, mentorship from industry leaders, professional development through workshops and speaker series, and a collaborative environment. Interns will be on-site daily to immerse themselves in the company culture and accelerate their professional development. The program also includes opportunities for community impact through the BBHcares philanthropic program. The Private Wealth Management area at BBH focuses on helping ultra-high net worth clients (average client over $50MM) by integrating wealth and investment planning to deliver comprehensive strategies. Specific areas of focus include Investment Advisory, Capital Allocation, Values-Based Wealth Planning, Philanthropic Advisory, Next Generation Education, and The Center for Women and Wealth® (CW&W).

Requirements

  • Current junior in college, entering senior year in fall of 2027.
  • Background in and passion for finance, business, or investing.
  • Strong academic achievement as evidenced through a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills through academic and extracurricular activities.
  • Effective communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Strong understanding of asset management industry and security markets (equities and fixed income).
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically.
  • Sound judgment and demonstrated ability to identify, escalate and resolve a problem.
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands.
  • Demonstrated passion for teamwork and success.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, i.e. customizing charts and graphs, conducting multi-sheet analysis, linking data across workbooks, and using advanced formulas.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day activities of a dedicated client base and ensure client needs are being met and that BBH services are properly delivered.
  • Support the new client onboarding and account opening processes, as well as account reviews.
  • Support the creation of client meeting materials.
  • Exposure to implementation and execution of core portfolio activities.
  • Learn how to troubleshoot client account issues such as portfolio reporting/activity and support client data requests.
  • Exposure to multiple disciplines in our integrated business model (private equity, lending, corporate advisory, family business).
