About The Position

The Private Wealth Management internship provides meaningful, real-world work experience as a contributing member of the team. Interns apply classroom knowledge, develop professional experience and relationships, and gain firsthand exposure to the work of Financial Advisors and their teams. The position is based in Baird’s Roseville, California office and requires full-time work during the summer, 37.5–40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The successful candidate must be able to start in June 2027.

Requirements

Be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field; an anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later is required.
Have an interest in financial services and developing a career in private wealth management.
Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and associates.
Show strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work on time.
Demonstrate motivation, proactivity, strategic thinking, and a strong commitment to learning and contributing effectively.
Be available to start in June 2027 and work full time during the summer, Monday through Friday, for 37.5–40 hours per week.
Not require employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in an office setting.

Responsibilities

Support Financial Advisor projects, including reviewing reports and conducting research.
Prepare for client meetings and presentations.
Assist with financial planning and market research.
Handle administrative tasks, calls, and basic client questions.
Contribute to branch marketing initiatives.
Process paperwork and documents.
Perform other duties and provide project support as needed.
