About The Position

The Lerner Group, part of Hightower, is a wealth management firm serving high net worth individuals, foundations, profit sharing and pension plans. They focus on tailoring services to individual family needs and aligning values with investments to strengthen communication, education, and wealth planning decisions across generations. This role is for a Private Wealth Associate who is a skilled multi-tasker with strong communication and problem-solving abilities, thriving in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is coachable, eager to learn, and performs well under variable workloads. As a growing company, there are opportunities for internal growth and career development. The Associate will report to the Operations Manager.

Requirements

BA/BS degree in finance or a related field
1 or more years of experience in a related field
Experience with relevant technologies including Fidelity's Wealthscape platform is preferred
You are a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident or possess other unrestricted U.S. work authorization and will not require sponsorship for U.S. work authorization now or anytime in the future.

Responsibilities

Set up new investment accounts, including preparing customer welcome packets and new account documentation.
Assist in establishing online access for statements, confirms, proxy materials, and other services.
Process client requests such as profile updates, wires, checks, and journals.
Communicate with advisors from other practices to discuss and process RMDs accurately.
Review previous day's activity to ensure accuracy.
Respond to client inquiries regarding accounts, policies, and procedures.
Prioritize and organize workflow, and prepare key documents for client meetings.
Complete necessary filing and maintain client files.
Provide administrative and office management support to the team.
