About The Position

Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, the selected candidate will be expected to plan and teach quality swim lessons to children or adult clientele. McGill University is an English-language university where day-to-day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level 4 (qualifier) on a scale of 0-4. Requirements

  • NLS as well as Standard First Aid are required.
  • Two-year coaching/teaching experience is required.
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada.
  • Willing to work in the province of Quebec at the campus where the position is based / located.
  • High School Diploma
  • 3 Years Related Experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in coaching competitive swim is favorable, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and create individualized lesson plans.
  • Ability to conduct one-on-one lessons based on the client’s skills and swimming ability.
  • Selected candidates must successfully pass their criminal background check in order to be considered for this position.
