About The Position
This role is for retired and former law enforcement professionals to join the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) as Investigators. The position involves conducting in-depth investigations into suspicious insurance claims, interviewing claimants and witnesses, obtaining statements, identifying fraud patterns, performing field investigations, and preparing professional reports. The role offers a transition for law enforcement skills into a stable industry, with no patrol shifts or rotating hours, and provides flexibility and independence. Requirements
- Prior law enforcement or investigative background
- Strong interviewing, observation, and report writing skills
- Ability to think critically and recognize fraud indicators
- Self-motivation and comfort working independently
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable vehicle
- Digital camera
- Windows based computer with internet
- Strong computer and internet skills
- Ability to meet deadlines with high quality work
