This role is with a private equity firm focused on lower middle market, family- and founder-owned businesses, with a concentration in the business services and industrials sectors. The firm partners with best-in-class management teams to transform small-capitalization, entrepreneurial businesses into institutional-caliber platforms positioned for continued growth well beyond the hold period. Rather than raising a traditional blind-pool fund, the firm sources capital on a deal-by-deal basis through a network of large institutional capital partners, and serves as the primary sponsor on each of its investments — providing significant flexibility in deal execution and ample capital to support portfolio companies. The team structure is flat, collaborative, and entrepreneurial, with a shared focus on generating outstanding returns for investors, management teams, and capital partners alike. With a lean team, professionals here get exposure to the full investment lifecycle — from sourcing through exit — far earlier than they would at a larger platform. The Senior Associate will work directly alongside senior investment professionals across sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio management. This is a hands-on seat: the Senior Associate builds financial models, drafts investment committee materials, conducts industry research, and coordinates with third-party diligence partners on live deals. On the portfolio side, the Senior Associate supports ongoing monitoring and ad hoc strategic projects for existing investments. This role suits someone who wants to build a strong technical foundation in lower middle market private equity while working closely with a senior team that will invest in their development. What Makes This Opportunity Interesting Direct exposure to the full deal lifecycle — sourcing, diligence, IC process, and portfolio management — without the layers of a large-cap platform Meaningful ownership of financial modeling and analysis on live transactions from day one Close working relationship with senior investment professionals, including regular direct interaction with decision-makers A sector-focused strategy (business services and industrials) that builds deep, transferable domain expertise A collaborative, team-oriented culture in a growing Miami office The Path Forward This role is designed as a launching point within the firm's investment team, with a clear track for Associates who perform well to take on greater deal ownership and responsibility over time.
