About The Position
Cheer Home Care is actively hiring a Private Duty Registered Nurse for per diem 12-hour NOC shifts. This role focuses on providing high-quality care to older adults in their homes, emphasizing connection, compassion, and making a difference. The Registered Nurse will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, provide constant feedback to clients and their representatives, and manage patients with complex needs.
Requirements
- Current, unrestricted California registered nurse license
- 3 years of experience as a registered nurse
- Proof of Negative TB result
- Physical Screening Documentation within the last year
- Active California Drivers license and car insurance
- Cell phone with Internet Access

- Home Health experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care, including wound care, medication administration, IV therapy, and monitoring of chronic/acute conditions.
- Manage and monitor patients with complex needs (e.g., ventilators, tracheostomies, feeding tubes).
- Recognize early signs of deterioration and intervene appropriately.
- Educate patients and family members on disease management, medications, and equipment use.
- Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records.
- Ensure compliance with home health regulations and infection control practices.
