Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN)
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) who has a passion for Adult and/or Pediatric care to join our Bergen County skilled nursing team. We believe our clients and their families deserve the highest quality care delivered with compassion, excellence, and reliability. Private duty nursing offers traditional shift types (8’s, 10’s, or 12's) with hands-on care for one client, allowing for relationship building and observing client milestones. Client age ranges from infant to geriatric. Nurses will travel to one client home near them on a schedule they choose, follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders, perform assessments, monitor clients' conditions, and document observations, interventions, and evaluations. BAYADA offers paid training from day one, practice with award-winning adult and pediatric Simulation labs, and around-the-clock clinical support by phone. Electronic charting is done using Statewise. We care for clients of all ages, diagnoses, and acuity levels and offer a multitude of paid training to ensure nurses feel comfortable and competent on their first shift. Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state
- 1 year of RN experience
Responsibilities
- Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders
- Perform assessments and monitor clients' conditions
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluation
