Private Duty Nurse- 12-Hour Shifts Available
About The Position

We are looking for RNs and LPNs with pediatric care experience for 12-hour shifts on a high-need case. Must have experience with G-Tubes and Trachs, Vents. Critical Care Needed. This is a home care nursing case for a young-adult client. Immediate need, primarily to fill the month of August, with ongoing shifts offered if a great match.
Requirements
- Current and unrestricted RN or LPN license in state for which you are applying. (Illinois)
- 1 year experience.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the US.
- Reliable car / auto insurance.
- Clean background and criminal record.

- Home Health Experience Preferred
- Pediatric Experience Preferred (Trach, G-Tube)

Responsibilities
- Perform care as defined by client’s individual Plan of Care and within scope of state’s nurse practice act.
- Monitor patient’s condition and notify appropriate personnel of any changes.
- Provide those services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skill.
- Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws.
- Counsels the client and family in meeting nursing and related needs.
