About The Position
Aveanna Healthcare is one of the largest private duty nursing companies in the nation and is growing. We are seeking Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurses (LPN/LVN) to join our team. We have patients and openings in the 75040 zip code, with adult patients requiring care for feeding tubes, medication administration, tracheostomies, and ventilators. Requirements
- Must have and maintain an active, unencunbered license (LPN/LVN) in the state in which the clinician will practice.
- Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 90 days.
- Current CPR certification (with hands-on component).
- TB skin test (current within last 12 months).
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide private duty nursing care to adult patients.
- Administer medications.
- Care for patients with feeding tubes, tracheostomies, and ventilators.
- Work with patients requiring high acuity care.
- Document care electronically.
