Private Duty Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a compassionate LPN for a day-shift position providing 1:1 care to pediatric clients. This role offers a consistent schedule that matches your family’s life while making a meaningful impact. Private duty nursing offers traditional shift types (8’s, 10’s, or 12's), hands-on care with one client, and the opportunity to build client relationships and watch their milestones. Client age ranges from infant to geriatric. We offer a multitude of paid training options to our nurses to feel comfortable and competent on their first shift.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state
- A minimum of five months of LPN experience
Responsibilities
- Travel to one client home near you on a schedule you choose
- Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders
- Perform assessments and monitor clients' conditions
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluation
