Private Duty/Homecare Aide
About The Position
Visiting Angels is seeking compassionate, certified, and experienced Caregiver Angels to join their award-winning team. They offer flexible schedules, meaningful work with seniors, and opportunities for professional development. The role involves working one-on-one with clients in their homes to ensure they remain safe, comfortable, and independent. Services include companionship, light and heavy hands-on personal care, end-of-life hospice care with nurse delegation, medication reminders, meal preparation, and assisting with errands and light housekeeping. The company serves residents of King County, including Seattle, Kirkland, Bellevue, and surrounding areas.
Requirements
- HCA CNA Exemption Letter with Active NAR
- Driver's License if applicable
- Homecare Aide Certification Training
- Work Authorization: United States (Required)
- Must be 18 years or older
- Military experienced candidates are encouraged to apply
- Applicants with gaps in their resume, or who have been out of the workforce for the past 6 months or more are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities
- Work 1-on-1 with clients in their home to ensure that they are able to remain safe, comfortable and independent.
- Provide companionship.
- Provide light hands-on assistance.
- Provide heavy hands-on bed bound personal care.
- Provide end of life hospice care with nurse delegation.
- Assist clients with errands.
- Perform light housekeeping.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Assist with meal planning/cooking.
- Provide personal care.
- Provide companionship.
