URGENT: Private Duty Home Health Nurse- LPN/ RN
About The Position
Our client is an active, pleasant 46-year-old woman living with paraplegia resulting from a Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA). She is highly engaged in her own recovery and is looking for a nursing partner to assist with her care. While the Aide manages general care, the Nurse is responsible for the following clinical interventions: Bowel Program: Lead and facilitate the routine bowel care management program. Mitrofanoff Catheter Care: Perform catheter management (intermittent or indwelling) ensuring strict adherence to infection control protocols. You will work in tandem with a Home Health Aide who handles heavy lifting, bathing, and other ADLs. Centria Healthcare is a Michigan-based home healthcare provider specializing in private duty nursing, complex pediatric care, and catastrophic injury services.
Requirements
- Active RN or LPN license in the state of Michigan
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Nice To Haves
- Home care or private duty experience preferred (not required)
- Trach/vent experience a plus (training provided)
