About The Position
South Port Square, a 40-acre campus in Port Charlotte, is seeking a hospitality-driven professional to join their dedicated team. As a Home Health Aide, you will work under the supervision of the care coordinator to provide personal care and support services to residents, ensuring their needs are met. This role involves observing residents, reporting findings, and documenting services provided to maintain quality, continuity, and safety. The position emphasizes a strong work ethic and a commitment to making a positive impact on residents' lives within a senior living community managed by Life Care Services (LCS).
Requirements
- Current HHA certificate or CNA license
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document services provided.
- Self-directed with the ability to work with little direct supervision.
- Kind, reliable, and compassionate.

- Previous HHA experience
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance such as showers, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with shopping and errands.
- Offer companionship to residents.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Perform light housekeeping such as laundry.
- Assist residents with going to medical appointments.
- Observe clients and report and record these observations.
- Document services provided.
