Private Duty Caregiver (LNA / CNA Background)

About The Position
This role offers experienced caregivers, LNAs, and CNAs a chance to provide dedicated, one-on-one care in a client's home, moving away from the fast-paced and high-ratio environment of facilities, hospitals, or long-term care settings. The position focuses on personalized support, allowing caregivers to build genuine relationships and provide dignified, unhurried care. In-home care provides a calmer, more controlled work environment with greater autonomy and a supportive office and clinical team.
Requirements
- Active LNA or CNA certification, or equivalent hands-on professional caregiving experience.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and valid auto insurance.
- A compassionate, dependable professional who wants to give thoughtful care, not just get through a shift.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in nursing homes, assisted living, hospitals, or rehab facilities is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Maintain a safe home environment, support safe transfers/mobility, and assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
- Utilize observational skills to monitor for changes in the client’s physical or cognitive condition, promptly communicating concerns to the care team.
- Provide meaningful companionship, emotional support, and engagement.
- Accurately follow individualized care plans and complete daily shift documentation.
