About The Position

Matrix Home Care is seeking warm, compassionate, and reliable Caregivers to assist a paraplegic client with bathing, dressing, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and accompanying them to the gym and general errands. This role offers a competitive hourly pay and flexible scheduling, with a focus on one-on-one patient care in a home setting. Requirements

• Previous experience as a caregiver (at least 1 year)
• Valid HHA Certificate or FL CNA License
• Must be reliable and punctual, with the ability to maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor
• Ability to assist with mobility and provide emotional support
• Under Florida law, this role is subject to background screening per Chapter 435, Florida Statutes, including fingerprinting and review for eligibility before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide support as needed with bathing, dressing, meal preparation and accompany patient to the gym and general errands.
• Ensure the client's safety and well-being throughout the shift.
• Clock in/out and document shifts in KanTime EMR.
