The Private Club Manager for the Chargers 1960 Club plays a key leadership role in delivering memorable experiences for members, VIP guests, and event clients while ensuring seamless day-to-day club operations. This position oversees premium club service, event execution, team leadership, and client relationships across both on-premise and off-premise events. Success in this role comes from balancing operational excellence, guest experience, financial stewardship, and team development in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Experience leading hospitality, private club, premium dining, catering, or event operations environments.
Demonstrated success managing guest experiences, special events, and operational teams.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients, senior leaders, and operational teams.
Experience managing budgets, P&L performance, labor planning, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and respond effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proven relationship-building and client management skills.
Experience negotiating vendor contracts and managing external partnerships.
Ability to collaborate effectively with culinary leaders and hospitality professionals.
Experience recruiting, training, mentoring, and developing team members.
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

Lead the daily operations of the Chargers 1960 Club, ensuring exceptional service standards and memorable guest experiences.
Oversee VIP hospitality experiences, member engagement, and premium event service delivery.
Partner with clients to understand event goals, budgets, and expectations while providing recommendations on menus, venue setup, entertainment, and event logistics.
Collaborate with culinary teams to design customized menus that align with client needs and event objectives.
Coordinate and oversee event planning and execution for both on-site and off-site catering functions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Negotiate vendor agreements and manage external partnerships to support successful event delivery.
Partner with Event Managers and operational teams to ensure events are executed according to established standards, timelines, and budgets.
Lead scheduling, staffing, and labor planning to support operational needs and service excellence.
Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop both full-time and temporary team members.
Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture focused on hospitality and continuous improvement.
Maintain accurate financial, administrative, and event records.
Monitor event profitability, labor costs, sales performance, and operating budgets.
Serve as the primary liaison between catering sales, culinary leadership, operations teams, vendors, and clients.
Conduct post-event evaluations to identify successes, opportunities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Address client concerns professionally and proactively to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
Support timely billing, collections, and contract fulfillment activities.
