About The Position

Gallagher's Irvine Office is seeking a Private Clients Account Executive to join their established team. The role involves providing quality service to clients, achieving optimal retention numbers, and driving growth. This position is within Gallagher's Retail Broking Division, which offers tailored business insurance, risk management, and risk transfer solutions. The Account Executive will work alongside experienced professionals to deliver outstanding service to customers.

Requirements

  • Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent.
  • Intermediate knowledge of the personal lines insurance industry.
  • Previous experience in the insurance industry is preferred.
  • Experience working to targets within a regulated, measurable framework and achieved SLAs.
  • Risk aware in handling customer information.
  • 100% customer centric, focused on the best possible outcome for customers.
  • Demonstrates due diligence and is process-driven to deadlines.
  • Task focused, results-oriented, and takes initiative.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident in building and maintaining rapport.
  • Strong planning and analytical skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.

Nice To Haves

  • Holding or working towards one of the Chartered Insurance Institute Qualifications, Dip CII or FIT.
  • CDL and Acturis experience.

Responsibilities

  • Creating documents for new customers, mid-term adjustments, and renewals.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely recording of customer details on the system.
  • Obtaining renewal terms for customers and exploring alternative options.
  • Preparing renewal closings from meeting minutes and ensuring cover is bound by the renewal date.
  • Managing insurer and customer queries regarding policies.
  • Confirming cover with insurers, processing policies, and chasing outstanding documentation.
  • Addressing account queries and credit control matters.
  • Applying fundamental legal and regulatory policy in relation to internal policies and insurance contracts.
