About The Position

As a Private Client Banker in Branch Banking, you are the main point of contact for a select group of Chase’s affluent clients as well as other customers in the branch. You manage their complete banking relationship across the company, using a proactive and disciplined approach to generate growth in their balances. You help acquire new clients by actively soliciting referrals and developing internal and external sources.

The position is subject to Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators. An employment offer is contingent on JPMC’s review of criminal conviction history, credit report, NMLS information, and other relevant information to determine financial responsibility, good character, and general fitness. A felony conviction within the last seven years disqualifies candidates. Continued employment is contingent on compliance with Truth in Lending Act/Dodd Frank Loan Originator requirements and the SAFE Act, including NMLS registration or updates after starting and timely annual renewal and required updates.

Requirements

• Demonstrated success using a value-added, relationship-oriented approach to acquire and deepen client relationships.
• At least one year of Branch Banking Banker or equivalent financial services experience, with verifiable success in new client acquisition, cultivating and maintaining customer relationships, and revenue generation.
• If not already registered, complete the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6 or 7, applicable state registration (including Series 63 or 66 if required), and Life licenses, or successfully complete them within 180 days of starting the role.
• Comply with Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators.
• High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
• Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings.
• Register with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS), or update an existing registration as necessary, immediately after starting; maintain compliance with annual renewal and required updates.

• Share the value of Chase Private Client with clients who may be eligible.
• Actively manage banking relationships through an advice-based approach, ensuring each client receives products and services suited to their needs.
• Partner with Private Client Advisors, Mortgage Bankers, and Business Relationship Managers to connect customers with specialists for financial needs.
• Help clients access accounts conveniently by sharing and setting up self-service options available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
• Acquire new clients by soliciting referrals and developing internal and external sources.
