About The Position

As a Private Client Banker in a Chase branch, you represent the Chase brand and culture by providing welcoming, attentive service and banking solutions to affluent clients and other branch clients. You manage clients’ complete banking relationships across the company, using a proactive, disciplined, advice-based approach to deepen relationships and grow balances. You also help acquire new clients by soliciting referrals and developing internal and external sources. You educate clients about banking products and digital services, connect them with specialists for complex needs, and adhere to applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. This position is subject to Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators and requires registration under the SAFE Act through the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS). Continued employment is contingent on meeting these requirements, including successful registration after starting and completing annual renewals and required updates. Applicants must also meet the stated licensing requirements or obtain the required licenses through JPMC’s licensing program within 180 days of hire.

Requirements

Demonstrated success using a value-added, relationship-oriented approach to acquire and deepen client relationships.
At least 1 year of branch banking banker experience or equivalent financial services sales experience, with proven success acquiring clients, deepening relationships, and generating revenue.
Ability to create memorable client experiences.
Excellent in-person and telephone communication skills, including tailoring product and service features and benefits to clients with differing needs.
Ability to resolve client issues quickly and effectively with attention to detail.
Ability to operate within established risk parameters and meet internal and external risk and compliance obligations, including required training.
High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.
Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including Series 63 if required), and Life licenses; unlicensed applicants must obtain licenses through JPMC’s licensing program within 180 days of hire.
Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings.
Meet Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act Loan Originator qualification requirements and comply with SAFE Act/NMLS registration requirements.

Responsibilities

Learn products, services, and procedures to consult effectively about banking solutions and connect clients with specialists for their financial needs.
Follow policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
Acquire new clients through referrals and by developing internal and external sources.
