About The Position
As a Private Client Banker in Branch Banking, you are the main point of contact for a select group of Chase’s affluent clients as well as other customers in the branch. You manage their complete banking relationship across the company, using a proactive and disciplined approach to grow balances. You also help acquire new clients by soliciting referrals and developing internal and external sources. The role focuses on taking care of customers and employees by building lasting relationships, doing the right thing, exceeding expectations, and supporting diversity and inclusion. You help customers make the most of their money by providing education and advice tailored to their financial needs. This position is subject to Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators and requires NMLS registration under the SAFE Act. Employment and continued employment are contingent on satisfying applicable review, registration, compliance, renewal, and update requirements.
Requirements
- Demonstrated success using a value-added, relationship-oriented approach to acquire and deepen client relationships.
- At least 1 year of Branch Banking Banker or equivalent financial services experience, with verifiable success in new client acquisition, cultivating and maintaining customer relationships, and revenue generation.
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.
- Compliance with Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act requirements.
- Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings.
- If not already registered, pass the Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6/7, applicable state registration (including 63 or 66 if required), and Life licenses, or successfully complete them within 180 days of starting the role.
- Register with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS), or update an existing registration as necessary, immediately after starting employment; comply with SAFE Act registration, renewal, and update requirements.

Responsibilities
- Share the value of Chase Private Client with clients who may be eligible.
- Actively manage banking relationships through an advice-based approach, ensuring each client receives products and services suited to their needs.
- Partner with Private Client Advisors, Mortgage Bankers, and Business Relationship Managers to connect customers with experts for specialized financial needs.
- Help clients access their accounts conveniently by sharing and setting up self-service options available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
- Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
- Acquire new clients by soliciting referrals and developing internal and external sources.
