Advise clients on all aspects of Property Insurance (homes, high-value, rentals, vacation properties across BC, AB, SK, MB, ON) and Automobile Insurance (ensuring compliance and proper coverage in AB and ON). Accurately assess client risks and negotiate with insurers to secure the best coverage, pricing, and terms, including securing special endorsements or coverage exceptions. Efficiently handle the entire policy lifecycle: Quote & Bind new business across multiple provinces, and accurately process renewals and policy changes, always reviewing coverage for improvements or cross-selling opportunities. Actively identify and implement opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance the overall client experience. Ensure all records are accurate, processes adhere to regulatory requirements, and clients receive timely follow-ups. Keep up-to-date with market trends, insurer products, rate filings, and industry updates across all provinces we serve. Actively manage and grow your personal lines book of business. Proactively develop new business by prospecting, generating referrals, and leveraging your professional network and existing client relationships. Work with Summit's external partners and associations to optimize our personal insurance programs and better serve their members' needs. Act as the internal subject-matter expert for Personal-Lines. You'll establish best practices, design training materials, and provide technical coaching to elevate the team's capabilities, especially around cross-selling.
