About The Position

This role is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of Private Client Service Teams, including managing client issues and problem-solving, providing guidance on renewal strategies and client retention, handling carrier issues, approving PTO, conducting performance reviews, and managing timecards. The position also involves fostering teamwork between Producers, Client Advisors, and Placement Teams to achieve results and meet business goals. Additionally, the Team Leader monitors department coverage, evaluates workloads, assigns new business, and reassigns accounts as needed. They build relationships with carrier partners, communicate program and underwriting changes to staff, and encourage staff development through training and performance feedback. The role also includes managing a book of business to ensure high-quality service and retention goals are met, and participating in the hiring and onboarding of new associates.

Requirements

  • Strong supervisory and motivational skills
  • Ability to communicate in a pragmatic and proactive way
  • Ability to handle conflict and bring to a timely resolution
  • In-depth knowledge of agency management system and workflows
  • Minimum 7 years of similar or related experience in private client insurance preferred
  • Property and Casualty license required for state of business
  • Must fulfill continuing education requirement to retain license
  • Limited travel required

Responsibilities
