About The Position
Moore Care Caregiver Services is a family-run business seeking a loving and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to care for clients in a professional manner. The ideal candidate will be patient, friendly, and possess excellent communication skills. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, personal care, and mobility. Moore Care is a Baton-Rouge based provider of quality in-home care, committed to helping clients live their best lives with care and compassion.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of documented care giving experience required
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
- Respectful and compassionate
- Good time management skills
- Ability to clock in and out and complete care notes on a smart phone
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ethics
- Physical endurance
- High school diploma or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Assisting clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.)
- Assisting clients with personal care and hygiene
- Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
