About The Position

The Private Banking Intern will support the Private Banking team in delivering high-touch service to high-net-worth clients. This role provides hands-on exposure to client relationship management, financial analysis, deposit processes, and the daily operations of a private banking group. The intern will work closely with bankers, analysts, and support staff to assist with client requests, research, reporting, and project work.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in private banking, wealth management, or financial services.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional demeanor and strong customer service orientation.
  • Maintains confidentiality and demonstrates sound judgment.
  • Clearly and effectively communicates with team members and clients.
  • Works collaboratively and supports team goals.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Private Banking Officers with client onboarding, documentation, and account maintenance.
  • Support the preparation of client presentations, financial summaries, and relationship reviews.
  • Review and organize client files to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and client-focused projects.
  • Provide general administrative support, including reporting, data entry, and project coordination.
  • Select a capstone project to research, develop and present findings to the advisors at the end of the program.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of professionalism.
