About The Position

Oakworth Capital Bank is growing and has an excellent opportunity for someone to join our team! We are looking for a fulltime Private Banking Client Advisor that will play a vital role in helping grow the business, as well as supporting our current & future clients. An ideal candidate would meet the qualifications listed below, and more importantly, be able to demonstrate that they live by Oakworth Core Values ( G olden Rule, Character, Innovative Spirit, Professionalism, Work Ethic ). Summary: The Private Banking Client Advisor would provide the highest level of client experience through personalized banking solutions to Oakworth clients in a collaborative team environment. This role is responsible for serving current relationships and leading the development of new client relationships, in addition to a variety of tasks including those listed below:

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
  • 5+ years of lending experience is preferred
  • Previous credit background with sound lending practices highly preferred
  • Proficiency in Horizon or a similar Core Banking system and Microsoft Dynamics or a similar Client Relationship Management (CRM) platform is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is required
  • Excellent Communication Skills – verbal, written, listening
  • Team focused (collaborative, works well with others, supports team goals)
  • Holistic approach to advising clients & providing solutions
  • Drive to source, win, expand relationships
  • Knowledgeable/Credible within their field (through experience, education, credentials in applicable area)
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to utilize technology resources

Responsibilities

  • Ensure execution of the Oakworth Model
  • Execution of the business development approach
  • Build book of business
  • Provide extraordinary client experience
  • Community Involvement Responsibility
  • Strengthen existing client relationships as well as maintain excellent business development skills to identify potential clients that fit the Oakworth relationship model.
  • Analyze client financial statements in order to provide and implement financial recommendations.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to enhance the client experience.
  • Attend Business Development team meetings prepared to contribute.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Banking and Wealth Management teams.
  • Conduct business development calls on prospective and current clients to assist in meeting established team goals.
  • Relationship management for existing clients, including ongoing and regular client contact and communication with meaningful substance.
  • Providing a high level of responsiveness returning calls and emails regarding client inquiries.
