About The Position

MBL Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Privacy Consultant - Legal and Technical Compliance to serve as a trusted advisor supporting federal privacy operations and compliance initiatives. This role combines expertise in privacy governance, regulatory compliance, and technical documentation review to help clients strengthen privacy posture, mitigate risk, and maintain compliance with federal requirements. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

BS/BA degree (required).
4+ years of experience supporting federal privacy programs.
Possess a "can-do" attitude, willing to wear multiple hats, and enjoys working in a collaborative team environment.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in an environment of change.
Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust.

Nice To Haves

CIPP or CIPM certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

Oversee compliance and reviews of data protection and privacy policies, assessments, privacy risk strategies.
Support client and team to navigate legal requirements and nuances for operations and documentation.
Conduct reviews of technical documentation such as Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and other documentation to confirm security controls and policies are accurately reflected and implemented.
Apply and understanding of NIST 800-53 to support system teams to accurately document operations and privacy compliance.
Oversee the development and delivery of weekly and monthly reporting including reports, presentations, discussions, and metrics.
Maintain quality control for assignments including reviewing deliverables, contributing key content, managing workload to meet deadlines, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Identify lessons learned and apply lessons learned to drive compliance, solutions and recommendations.
