About The Position

Emplify Health is hiring a Prior Authorization Specialist to work with hospital departments and insurance companies to obtain the pre-certifications and authorizations needed for ordered or scheduled services. The role specializes in prior authorization for the VA Hub. It is a full-time position scheduled for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, in 8-hour shifts between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. The role is eligible for remote work after in-person training in Onalaska, Wisconsin.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 1–2 years of healthcare experience with insurance or prior authorization experience.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer and phone skills.

Nice To Haves

• Coding experience and certifications.
