About The Position

Emplify Health is seeking a Prior Authorization Specialist to work with hospital departments and insurance companies to obtain required pre-certifications and authorizations for services ordered or scheduled through insurance. The specialist will focus on prior authorizations for the VA Hub. The role is full time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with 8-hour shifts scheduled between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. The position is eligible for remote work after in-person training in Onalaska, Wisconsin.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 1–2 years of healthcare experience with insurance or prior authorization experience.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer and phone skills.

Nice To Haves

• Coding experience and certifications.
