The impact you’ll make in this role As a Printing Press Operator, you’ll be responsible for supporting production operations, ensuring quality standards, and contributing to a safe and efficient plant environment. This role works the 1st shift and includes starting pay of $30.88/hour.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED AND 3 years of experience in a machine operator role OR 5 years of experience in a machine operator role
Ability to work required overtime as needed
Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.

Responsibilities

Safely setting up, operating, and monitoring printing presses (Offset, Wolverine, Windmill, Mark Andy) while following all SOPs, safety procedures, and quality standards.
Verifying materials, completing press setups and changeovers, performing line clearances, and preparing plates, lot codes, and date codes for production runs.
Monitoring print quality and process performance, making adjustments as needed to ensure specifications are met and product quality is maintained.
Performing in-process inspections, documenting production and quality data accurately, and maintaining required records, including solvent and ink usage.
Troubleshooting equipment, process, and material issues; escalating concerns and reporting malfunctions, discrepancies, or unusual conditions to leadership as needed.
Supporting operational excellence through training, cross-training, continuous improvement activities.
Possessing the ability to clearly speak, understand, and write in English to communicate effectively in both verbal and written contexts.
Responsibilities of this position include that corporate policies, procedures and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties.
