About The Position

The Flexographic Printing Press Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining narrow web flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality labels and printed materials that meet customer specifications. This position plays a critical role in ensuring production efficiency, product quality, and workplace safety by monitoring press performance, performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and following established quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and committed to producing exceptional work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous experience operating flexographic printing presses or similar manufacturing equipment preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, job specifications, and production documents
  • Basic math skills and the ability to read measuring devices such as rulers and tape measures
  • Ability to accurately distinguish colors and identify print quality variations
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Basic computer skills for production reporting and data entry
  • Ability to work assigned shifts, overtime, and weekends as business needs require
